About the role
You will own cost visibility and optimization across a portfolio of client environments — modelling commitments, finding waste and, critically, getting the fixes actually shipped by the teams that own the workloads.
What you'll do
- Model commitment coverage against rolling workload forecasts
- Identify and quantify optimization opportunities across accounts
- Work with engineering teams to land the changes, not just report them
- Build showback that reaches the engineer, not just the business unit
- Report savings delivered against target every month
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in cloud cost management, finance or infrastructure
- Fluency with cloud pricing models across at least two providers
- Strong analytical skills and comfort in SQL
- Ability to influence engineering teams without authority
- FinOps certification welcome but not required
