VOW Technology Pvt Ltd expands certification funding to every employee
The annual learning budget rises to $4,200 per person, with full coverage for cloud, security and platform certifications.
VOW Technology Pvt Ltd has extended full certification funding to all 42,000 employees, raising the average annual learning budget to $4,200 per person and removing the prior approval threshold for accredited cloud, security and platform certifications.
The change follows an internal review showing that certification cost, rather than time, was the main barrier for employees earlier in their careers.
"We hire people who are technically restless," said Kwame Boateng, Chief People Officer. "Making them ask permission to stay current was working against the reason we hired them."
